In a recent project in New Jersey, our team tackled legacy solvent impacts at an active manufacturing site. Because the source migrated into bedrock, excavation wasn’t enough. We implemented an In-Situ Chemical Reduction strategy designed to reach contamination in tight fractures using pneumatic fracture enhancement to improve pathways for targeted injections. To address impacts beneath the building, our team operates a soil vapor extraction system to remove vapors from under the slab, remediating soil and helping to protect workers.
